Ornix
Ornix is an excellent Soil conditioner, added to soil to improve plant growth and health. Some soils lack nutrients necessary for proper plant growth and others hold too much or too little water. Ornix corrects the soil's deficiencies.
Ornix :
Best suited for the bigger plants such as shrubs , trees and ground covers. Ornix helps to hold water for more time. The frequency of soil amendments will be reduced.
Advantages of Ornix
-
I. Physically modify and improve texture & structure of soil.
II. Chemically improve the fixation properties of the soil.
III. Biologically stimulate the plant and the micro fauna in the root zone.
I. PHYSICAL BENEFITS OF ORNIX
A) Increases water holding capacity.
B) Increases aeration of soil.
C) Improves soil workability.
D) Helps to resist drought.
E) Improves growth at seedbed
F) Makes soil more friable
G) Reduces soil erosion.
II. CHEMICAL BENEFITS OF ORNIX
A) Retains water-soluble inorganic fertilizers in the root zones and releases
Them to plants when needed.
B) Promotes the conversion of a number of elements into forms available
to plants.
C) Possesses extremely high ion-exchange capacities.
D) Participates in the decomposition of rocks and minerals.
E) Increases buffering properties of soil.
F) Chelates metal ions under alkaline conditions.
II. BIOLOGICAL BENEFITS OF ORNIX
A) Stimulates plant growth by accelerating cell division, increasing the rate
of development in root systems, and increasing the yield of dry matter.
B) Increases germination of seed and viability.
C) Increases vitamin content of plants.
D) Increases the permeability of plant membranes; promoting the uptake of
Nutrients.
E) Stimulates root growth, especially lengthwise.
F) Increases root respiration and formation.
G. Stimulates growth and proliferation of desirable soil microorganisms as
well as algae and yeast.
H) Aids in photosynthesis.
I) Stimulates plant enzymes.
J) Acts as an organic catalyst.
K) Has no detrimental effects on quality of product.
