The manure-making machine ‘Bhu Siri’ and soil testing equipment ‘Bhu Mitra’ developed by Hi-Tech Agriculture Chairman Dr.Nagaraj Hegde was unveiled by Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa in Bengaluru yesterday. Our Correspondent says that both Bhu Siri and Bhu Mitra machines will be promoted by the state agriculture department to prevent farmers from burning stubble and other crop residue and benefit from organic farming.
